1. The service
Dawalekh is an online tool, operated by Dawalekh, that helps medical stores and clinics record medicine stock, see expiry and low-stock alerts, and prepare patient refill reminders on WhatsApp.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under Indian law.
- Give correct details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One free trial is allowed per store and mobile number.
3. Free trial and read-only mode
New accounts get a 7-day free trial with all Pro features. No payment details are needed for the trial. There is no free plan after the trial. When the trial ends (or a paid plan ends) without a new payment, the account becomes read-only: you can still view and download your data, but you cannot add new bills, purchases or other changes until you buy a plan. Nothing is deleted when an account becomes read-only. Your data is kept as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Plans and payment
- The paid plans are Basic: ₹49 for 30 days (up to 100 medicines, 50 bills a month and 20 refill reminders), and Pro: ₹149 for 30 days or ₹1,499 for 365 days (unlimited, with purchase entry, udhaar khata and CSV download), per payment. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees. Plans bought earlier under other names keep working until the period paid for ends.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store card, UPI or bank details.
- There is no automatic renewal or auto-debit. To continue after your period ends, you make a new payment; otherwise the account becomes read-only.
- We may change prices in future; changes will not affect a period you have already paid for.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can stop using Dawalekh at any time by not renewing. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Your data and responsibilities
- You own the data you add. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for following all laws that apply to your business, including drug and pharmacy laws.
- You must have permission from patients before storing their details or messaging them.
7. Not medical advice
Dawalekh is a record-keeping tool. It does not give medical or pharmaceutical advice, and alerts are based only on the data you enter. Always check stock, expiry and prescriptions yourself.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, try to access other accounts, break security, send spam, or use Dawalekh for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.
9. Availability
We work to keep Dawalekh available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, and there may be short breaks for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost stock. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
11. Ending the service
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms, and will give notice where reasonable.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are important, we will show a notice on the website or in the app. Using Dawalekh after changes means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
